GORGONIAN - New Wording coming soon!!!
Among the members of our barony walk heroes and legends, men and women of honor and skill. On this day we would recognize that {name} is one of them, by making him/her a member of the Order of the Gorgonian. May he/she go forth from this {date} and continue to show the Known World the glory of Glaedenfeld.
Scroll should feature a shield with a gorgon’s head and reference to the specific marshal/field art for which it is being given (sword, rapier, bow, horse, etc.)
At this time, we plan to recognize all martial & field activities under the umbrella of the Order of the Gorgonian. When presented, it will be specified that the recipient is receiving the Gorgonian for rattan combat, for archery, for equestrian arts, for rapier, etc. There will be no token or regalia. The artwork of the scroll should feature the gorgonian (the shield with the gorgon’s head) and a reference to the specific marshal/field art for which it is being given (a rapier, a horse, a bow and arrow, etc.).

MNEMOSYNE- New Wording coming soon!!!
There are those with whom the Muses freely share their Gifts. Those gentles, in turn, share their skills and talents with those around them. At this time, We would recognize {name} for his/her {skills and service}, by making him/her a member of the Order of Mnemosyne. Done this {date}.
Design is completely open, but feature nine versions (for the nine Muses) or repetitions of a design element (something meaningful to the recipient or representative of the art). Our arts award will be the Order of the Mnenosyne, which references the nine Greek muses. There will be no token or regalia. The artwork of the scroll is completely open to the imagination of the scribe, but should feature nine versions or repetitions of a design element (something meaningful to the recipient, such as a cat, or something related to their art).

Within the Barony of Glaedenfeld are those who have served so long and well that they are a beacon to those around them. {Name} embodies this spirit of service, having acted as {office}, sharing his/her own skills and knowledge. As of {date}, let all know that he/she is a member of the order of the Caryatid.
Design should feature a column with a woman’s form. Hands can hold something meaningful to the recipient.
For the non-armigerous service award, the Order of the Caryatid, which is a column featuring a woman’s form. This is a nod to the Crimson Pillar. No token or regalia will be given. The scroll should feature a column, but no color is specified.
ATHENE NOCTUA (Armigerous)- New Wording coming soon!!!
Among the populace of the Barony of Glaedenfeld are those exceptional individuals that come to the attention of Their Excellencies Griffin and Stephanie. Let it be known that {name} has earned special recognition for his/her long service to Glaedenfeld and for embodying the spirit of service to the people of Glaedenfeld. For this he/she is inducted as a member in the Order of the Athene Noctua on this {date}.
Design should feature an owl in the design work, but avoid a white owl on a blue background (OVO).
Armigerous award: Order of the Athene Noctua. As a token of the award, the B & B will give out a coin with the little greek owl on in. Scrolls should feature an owl in the design work (any representation/style is suitable), but should avoid a white owl on a blue background (so there’s no confusion with the Order of the Velvet Owl).
KOTINOS- New Wording coming soon!!!
The Order of the Kotinos is designed to be given by the Baron and Baroness, at their discretion, as personal thank yous, as a recognition of exceptional service or skill, or for anything they feel needs recognition and is not covered by another award. It has no delineated regalia; tokens are solely at the discretion of each B & B. There are no specific requirements for scrolls, and we may not give scrolls, because we expect to give a lot of Kotinos and we don't want to kill our scribes. Scroll design elements are at the discretion of each B&B. The award may be given to anyone as many times as the B & B’s wish.

GANYMEDE’S CUP - New Wording coming soon!!! {New youth award Patent-pending please stay tuned for update}
The youth of our Kingdom are our present and our future. We would recognize {name} for his/her contributions to the Barony of Glaedenfeld. {For asking questions and listening to the answers. For spreading joy through music and bringing sweetness wherever she goes.} For his/her enthusiasm in all his/her endeavors, we make him/her a member of the Order of Ganymede’s Cup. Done this (date).
Scrolls should feature a child holding a cup, and anything else meaningful to the recipient. We all felt very strongly that we wanted to recognize the contributions of children. We went outside of the recommendations of the committee, as none of them really seemed to suit the idea of recognition of children. We came up with the Order of Ganymede’s Cup (Ganymede was the child of the gods and was their cupbearer). There may not be any regalia, but scrolls should feature a child holding a cup.

In the high and far-off days of King Arthur, there dwelt a Knight of the Round Table who, raised by his mother and grandmother, embodied chivalry and courtesy to all ladies. Sir Perceval of Galles, Knight of the Round Table, because of his innocence and purity of heart, was one of the three Knights who attained the Holy Grail, which was presented to him by a Dove. The martial prowess of our stalwart warriors is one of the many strengths of the Barony of the Osprey. The honor and chivalry displayed by our warriors on the field of combat reflect the Barony’s glory. We acknowledge their great efforts and achievements in honing their skills. Given to those members of the Barony who have, through their actions, shown themselves to be the “heart” of the Barony – those the Barony would be hard pressed to do without. This award is named in honor of Master Johannes the Black of the Athanor.
Each scroll is custom designed for the recipient.

• Badge – registered June 1997. Blazon: (Fieldless) An osprey’s jamb erased a la quise, belled and jessed fesswise, talons to dexter, argent. Must appear on scroll.
Given for long term activity of an exceptional nature in the Barony. The premier service award of the Barony, it may carry an AoA with the permission of the Crown.
Those who through extensive service have bound themselves to the Barony of the Osprey and continue to contribute greatly to the wellbeing of the Barony, the Kingdom, and the Society as a whole greatly deserve recognition. Our Society is less an Organization, than an Attitude, a way of looking at things, a way of sharing ourselves and our world with others. This Attitude is based largely on the concept of Chivalry, which in its broadest sense encompasses honor, fair-play, reverence, courtesy & respect. Chivalry is the lifeblood of the Society & without it we would have no Dream.
In this year, as in years past, the Ladies of the Barony of Thor’s Mountain have gathered to choose the Gentleman who will receive the honor of the Silver Heart. This Award, given at the Silver Hammer Tourney, is bestowed upon the Gentleman who has, in the course of the year, impressed the ladies with his courtesy, his helpfulness, & his sincere expression of the virtues which together exemplify Chivalry. This Award is given neither lightly nor capriciously & requires a unanimous decision by all of the Ladies.

Six great rams pull the Chariot of mighty Thor across his mountain & the world. The Ram’s Horn is symbolic of the strength,. endurance & valor of these great beasts who uphold & support Thor in his great works in the world.
So too, in Thor’s Mountain the Order of the Ram’s Horn is symbolic of the strength, endurance & valor of those who uphold & support Thor’s Mountain in her works in service, in the arts & sciences, & in fighting.
